Terms of Service

SnapSite provides website design and development services, including single-page websites, multi-page business websites, e-commerce stores, landing pages, portfolios and related digital products. The specific deliverables for your project will be defined in the order form you submit and any subsequent written communication.

The scope, price and timeline of each project are set out in the quote and, where applicable, in the contract signed with PYK Ventures, LLC. In case of any discrepancy, the quote or contract prevails over these Terms.

When you submit a request, you are making us an offer. A contract is only formed once our quote is accepted in writing or a contract is signed.

The 48-hour go-live timeline applies to projects for which it is expressly stated in the quote, provided that: (a) you have supplied all required content (text, images, brand assets, access where needed) at the start of the project; (b) the scope matches the quote; and (c) you are reasonably available to answer our questions. The timeline only starts once all content has been received.

Other projects, in particular online shops and projects requiring third-party integrations, have timelines set out in the quote.

The price of each project is set out in the quote. Prices shown on the website are starting prices.

PYK Ventures, LLC is a company established in the United States. Its services are outside the scope of Swiss VAT.

Unless the quote states otherwise, the price is payable in two instalments: 50% on signature and 50% on delivery. Payments are made by bank transfer, using the details shown on the invoice. The site goes live once payment has been received in full.

Late payments bear default interest at 5% per year, and we may suspend the services until payment is received.

To enable us to deliver your project on time, you agree to: provide accurate and complete information when placing your order; supply all required content (text, logos, images, brand guidelines) in usable formats; respond promptly to questions and review requests; ensure that any content you provide does not infringe the rights of any third party; and obtain all necessary licenses for any third-party assets you supply.

You warrant that you are the owner of, or have permission to use, all materials you provide to us, and you agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your breach of this warranty.

Once the site is completed, 5 hours of revisions are included to adjust it to your feedback. Beyond that, changes are billed at CHF 50 per hour, subject to your prior approval.

Because website projects are highly customized and work begins immediately on receipt of payment, all sales are generally final. However, if we are unable to deliver your project for reasons attributable to us, we will refund the unearned portion of your payment. No refunds are available once the project has been delivered and accepted.

Upon full payment of the agreed fees, you receive ownership of the final website files specifically created for your project (text content you provided, custom design elements, and the final compiled site). Stock photography, third-party fonts, plugins, frameworks and code libraries remain the property of their respective owners and are licensed to you for use in the delivered website.

SnapSite retains the right to use the work produced for you for portfolio, marketing and promotional purposes, including displaying it on our website and in case studies, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing prior to project completion.

The tools, internal processes, templates and methods we use remain our exclusive property.

For a site delivered without the editing tool, maintenance is optional. Where the site includes the editing tool, maintenance is mandatory. Its content is defined in the chosen plan. It may be terminated with 30 days' written notice.

If you cancel maintenance, you are responsible for migrating the site to a new host. We will provide an export of your site files upon request. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss following cancellation.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the project, including business strategies, customer data, credentials and proprietary materials. This obligation survives termination of the project.

We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Except as expressly set out in these Terms, our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, or that all defects will be corrected. We make no guarantees regarding search engine rankings, traffic, conversions, or business outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall SnapSite, its directors, employees or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our services.

In any case, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to SnapSite in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate the engagement for material breach if the breach is not cured within 14 days of written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

On termination, all amounts due remain payable, confidentiality obligations continue, and any provisions which by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Lausanne (Vaud), Switzerland.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
